I am so anxious to help you make the radio waves a powerful tool for out-reach and soul winning in your community. As I look to the future, I see the Lord providing these new stations to help swell the Loud Cry, and finish the Work. Some have asked the question “Would you tell me the advantages to using LifeTalk Radio application support, equipment package, and programming, instead of others that might be available.” In researching the other options,  it is clear that LTR provides significantly more than others are committed to do at this time. Here are TWELVE Important points that set LifeTalk Radio LPFM Mentoring & programming ahead of others: 1. LOCAL SOUND: We enable you to provide a local sound, so people don’t tune-out your station, thinking it is from some far away location. Where you live, this may be especially important. a. With the equipment suggested in our package, a local LTR-trained manager will develop programs,  record spots, public service and underwriting announcements, local weather, local call signs, etc., that will make the station’s sound as local as any other station in the area. This can be done in 3 hours per week, or less, with LifeTalk Radio training and support!
	Of Course the Sky Is The Limit, if you want to do an even more significant amount of local programming! b.Our automation equipment will seamlessly integrate the local material and our programming from satellite, so you will have a local and highly professional sound. i. The automation equipment saves many, many hours a day of hard work! Our package includes the kind of equipment that will allow for local program integration into the warp and woof of LifeTalk Radio’s very professional, inspiring, soul-saving format, designed for the radio audience. ii. The FCC requires local call signs to be aired at the top of every hour. This must be programmed locally! 1. It is possible to inject these call signs manually, but that requires almost full time personnel. You could not have unattended operation, as LifeTalk can provide. 2. Automatic equipment allows you to avoid the extra time and cost. c. The sermons of the local pastor can be broadcast, live, or taped, as well as other locally produced programming. d. We will train the local Pastor or Elder who so desires, how to go on the air daily, or weekly, according to time available, with a call-in program, to establish a relationship with people in your community. e. Our goal is to put in place a dedicated support team to train the local leadership to enhance the local LPFM Radio Station's effectiveness in soul-winning. 2. Quality Equipment Produces Optimum Quality Sound. We recommend quality equipment at optimum prices, through volume purchasing. There are those who are recommending equipment that will not provide the quality of signal needed to secure loyal listeners. We have sought to help the local station management in two ways: a.      Recommend the best equipment possible, even when it costs some more. Illustrations of where we believe others err:                                     i.       They recommend transmitters without sound processors. It is critical that you have this to create the necessary quality of sound.                                     ii.      They recommend receive dishes that our engineers tell us may not provide the needed stability for network cueing you will need to cut down on the many hours you would need, otherwise, to operate your station. (It may be they don’t even plan to provide you with this important cueing!) b. We are negotiating group discount prices for the quality equipment we recommend.  3. We help applicants secure top points with the FCC and make it possible to painlessly air 8 hours per day of beautiful music, from 10 pm to 6 am. This meets the 8-hour requirement for maximum points. To accomplish this we provide our entire music library on a hard drive, with plans to keep it up-dated on a continual basis. You choose from this music, with Music One, the music for each day, the first of each week or month. Commitment to program 8 hours a day is very important, because you would lose the application and the funds invested if someone were to apply on the same frequency, and you had not included this commitment at the time of application. Every application that I know of, who applied to the FCC in the first window, without this commitment, lost their station option. 4. We provide News at the top of the hour. To establish loyal listeners, News is so important. It keeps them from tuning away from your station at news time. 5. We provide expert engineering to do the technical work, to prepare the application. 6. We walk you through the entire process of applying for the application. It is "One Stop Shopping," with LifeTalk Radio. This includes arrangements for the needed legal work! 7. We will provide qualified engineering help when it’s time to install your radio station, if you need it. 8. Through our Broadcast Academy we provide the training for local volunteer managers to operate their station with an evangelistic effectiveness. 9.     We provide you with web-space on our site and the use of our web-based interactive services (chat rooms, bulletin boards, email, etc.).   These online resources can be used in a powerful way to help you grow a close-knit online community. 10. LifeTalk Radio programming is proven through almost ten years of experience in soul winning. IMPORTANT TO CONSIDER: All of LifeTalk Radio programming is prepared for radio, and not some other venue. 11. LifeTalk Radio will provide two sharathons per year to secure listener funding for station operations. 12.
