LifeTalk Radio is proving that Christian radio stations with an evangelistic focus can be extremely powerful. In its birth LifeTalk Radio chose the statement in the book Ministry of Healing, p. 143 as the foundation for its ministry: "Christ's method alone will give true success in reaching the people. The Savior mingled with men as One who desired their good. He showed His sympathy for them, ministered to their needs and won their confidence. Then He bade them, ‘Follow Me.’" Through interactive talk programs focusing on human need and worshipful music, LifeTalk Radio has developed an effective tool to reach men and women who are burdened by the stress and agitation in our culture and are looking for an oasis of peace, hope and assurance. It is LifeTalk's desire to see a multitude of evangelism and ministry-focused radio stations across North America, similar to National Public Radio stations. We have purposed to foster Christians in taking advantage of the opportunity to build and run stations in communities throughout North America. We are especially anxious that churches take advantage of the low-power frequencies the Federal Communications Commission is opening up. |
